Preschool Dropout

A quick update on the Preschool situation:  Ethan has been officially withdrawn.  :(  I won't bore you with the details but we came to the decision to withdraw Ethan because we did not feel as if we could trust the school after such a horrid response to what he had already endured.  We felt that we had done all that we could as far as making our concerns known and standing up for what was right but the lack of response and proper understanding from the School was just too much.

Instead we came up with an alternative that has been working out fabulously.  Ethan has been keeping the same hours and attending his very own private 1 on 1 Preschool with his aide Chelsey.  We meet Chelsey at the library and use the resources available there.  She has done a fantastic job of gathering tools and following a curriculum just like what Ethan was doing.  He also enjoys story time both days so he gets some interaction with other Toddlers.  Each day when I pick him up I have to convince him to leave.  He is truly enjoying it.  :)  I know I am much more at ease as well.  I could not have handled sending him back to school knowing that he might get hurt again.
